Depart U.S., overnight on plane
Thursday Arrive to Lima early a.m.; depart Lima for Cuzco. Our guide, Abelardo, will meet the group at the Cuzco Airport and provide transport to hotel.
A lovely walking tour through Cuzco in the afternoon as we get acclimated to the altitude, and spend the night in Cuzco. Dinner Included.
Morning trip by bus to the high-elevation of Chinchero (elevation 12,000 feet) to visit the native market and see the weavers. Afternoon tour of the towering fortress, Sacsayhuaman, the ruins of K’enko and the Temple of the Moon, where you will be treated to your own private concert of traditional Andean music. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included.
Spending the night in Cuzco.
Morning bus travel to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a verdantly lush and tranquil setting where we’ll explore and hike through the amazing Salt Mines of Maras to our exquisite lunch setting at a former monastery for our lunch by the Urubamba River. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included
Overnight in the Sacred Valley
Eco-Morning. Our group gives back to the local community as volunteers to share and contribute to the Quechua people, the closest living descendents of the ancient Incas. In the afternoon we will have the gift of a Quechua shaman who will guide us to join him in the offering of the Pachamama Ceremony, a blessing to Mother Earth, at the Inca Temple of Pomatales.
Overnight in Sacred Valley of the Incas.
In the morning we visit the majestic city and famous ruins of Ollantaytambo where Inca warriors turned back the Spanish conquerors. From there we take the train arriving in Aguas Clientes in the afternoon. This is the town at the base of the mountain below Machu Picchu. After checking in to our hotel, we’ll have lunch on our own and free time to explore thIS charming town. Breakfast included. Dinner on your own.
Overnight in Aguas Calientes.
A gorgeous day of exploration at the ruins. Optional hike to the Sun Gate, to the top of Huayna Picchu or to the hidden beauty of the Temple of the Moon. You may also choose to stay and explore Aguas Calientes. In the evening, relax in the famous thermal pools that give this charming village its name. Breakfast included.

Morning Visit to Machu Picchu Ruins (optional), or explore Aguas Calientes at your leisure. Mid-afternoon Group Sharing Process with Eddie in Aguas Calientes. Group process and sharing with Eddie, exploring images, dreams and insights on your Andean Adventure. Free time for shopping and visiting. Afternoon train to Cuzco. Breakfast and Group farewell dinner included.

From Cuzco we are off to Lima
Morning transfer to airport for our flight to Lima. Our Lima guide will meet the group at the airport for transfer. Afternoon for personal shopping and exploring on your own, with a late evening transfer to airport for international flight. Breakfast included.
Travel day; overnight on airplane; arrive to home cities by late morning or early afternoon.
