When
I was younger I dreamt of being a columnist for industry
magazines and corporate newsletters. I thought, “If I’m lucky
I could be a contributing author to someone else’s
book.”
For years I practiced my craft and submitted stories and original
ideas with the intention that someone would publish my work.
Through the practicing years I wrote and produced a national
Soul Awareness newsletter. I pretended and imagined my newsletter
was a syndicated column I was responsible for writing bi-monthly
and everyone liked it.
Before long imagination turned into reality and today
I’m
a columnist for Inner Change, The Caster and Power Agent Magazines.
I’m honored to be a contributing author to Hot Chocolate
for the Mystical Teen, More Hot Chocolate for Mystical Soul,
and Author of Kicking the Big BUT Syndrome.
If you have dreams of becoming a successful columnist
or writer I encourage you to keep working at it. When
others may not see your passio n and burning desire – keep
up the work and eventually doors could open so you can
share your talent with others.
With Gratitude Always,

Dying to Know
When I saw my first
ghost, I was nine years old, visiting my grandmother
in North Carolina. I was playing on the front
porch when an old man appeared. He was sitting
at the opposite end of the porch, fast asleep and
snoring loudly. At first, he startled me, because
he hadn’t been there a minute before. But
I couldn’t take my eyes off him. I was
riveted by his every move, and an eerie feeling enveloped
my body. Suddenly, he woke up from his nap,
grabbed his chest, and fell right off the porch and
onto Grandma’s flower bed. I rushed over
to help him, but when I looked into the flowerbed
he had vanished!— READ

Multidimensional Teen
Our family
had only lived in Louisiana for a couple of months
when we piled into Mama’s Plymouth Duster and headed
back to our home state of North Carolina. It
was the middle of the school year and now I had
to be the new kid on the block once again. I
had seen how classmates treated the new kids before,
and it wasn’t pretty. Being horribly
shy and a hopeless introvert had its disadvantages
for this thirteen-year-old. — READ

Two Worlds Collide
As a child
I often saw angels and heard their voices. I didn’t
tell my parents about the loving visitors and their
guidance, assuming that other children had the same
experiences as me. I loved listening to my
nonphysical friends as they shared their unlimited
wisdom and insight. Visiting with these angelic
guides was my personal escape from our family’s
turmoil. Some how it helped me release a lot
of pain of the physical world when I slipped into
the magical world of unconditional love. — READ
